BRIDFORD FETE HELICOPTER RIDE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1) Children under the age of 5 will not be permitted to fly due to seat harness arrangements. Children below the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent.
2) Passengers will be expected to follow the pilot’s instructions both on the ground and whilst in the air in order to uphold the safety of both the passengers and the aircraft.
3) The date of the flight will be agreed by mutual consent between the pilot and the winning ticket holder. The pilot will reserve the right to terminate the trip either before or during the flight should he feel that the conditions are not conducive to a smooth and enjoyable flight. Should the flight be cancelled due to weather, a separate date will be agreed between the pilot and the ticket holder.
4) We regret that due to seat harness arrangements we will not be able to carry persons over an 18 stone weight limit.
5) The flight is not recommended for pregnant women more than a maximum of 5 months pregnant. The pilot will need to see a doctor’s letter from any pregnant lady wishing to take the flight stating the term of pregnancy and the lady's fitness to take the flight at her own risk.
6) On the day of the flight, the pilot/s will give the passengers a full safety briefing along with some background information on the principles of flight of the Hughes 500 helicopter. This briefing is for the passenger’s safety and the flight will not be taken without it.
7) Passengers will be able to take pictures from the aircraft (not on mobile phones), and a normal digital camera will give good results.
8) The winning ticket holder will be able to bring a friend or partner with them on the day as the flight is for two persons. The winning ticket holder may also bring up to four other persons to watch them come and go from the helipad/ take photos etc. Visitors will be given tea and coffee etc at Hedgemoor whilst waiting for the flight to return.
9) The flight will depart and land back at Hedgemoor, Bridford.
10) The flight is a donated item to the Bridford Fete and no cash alternative or other prize is available.
11) Money raised will be paid into the account of registered charities Bridford Village Hall, Reg. Charity 300782 and Bridford Parochial Church Council, Reg Charity X2338
